Transforming the learning of each student every day.
Patrician Brothers' College is proud to be part of Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese's system of 80 Catholic primary and secondary schools operating across Western Sydney and the Blue Mountains providing more than 43,500 students with a high-quality, low fee Catholic education.
At Patrician Brothers' College we strive for excellence and foster a love of learning. We offer personalised learning that recognises the particular needs of boys and young men in the pursuit of individual achievement.
We encourage staff, students and parents to work and pray together, so that we build a community where “Christ Reigns”.
Our school is committed to creating a learning community where:
"My journey at Patrician Brothers' College Blacktown has been nothing short of incredible, especially when it comes to the sporting opportunities that have shaped my high school experience."
"From my first day at Patrician Brothers' College I felt like I belonged. The warm and welcoming school community welcomed me, turning the unfamiliar into a home where I could find friends."
"The extra opportunities outside normal learning, like music tuition, have been a game-changer for me."
"Patrician Brothers' College has been transformative for our son, instilling a profound sense of confidence. Through supportive teachers, diverse opportunities, and a nurturing environment, the school has empowered him to believe in his abilities and embrace challenges with assurance."
Our College Crest
The college crest consists of a shield surmounted by a crown and our motto, Christus Regnat, Latin for "Christ Reigns". The shield represents the Catholic Faith, while the white star encircled by the wreath of laurel represents The Blessed Lady. The cross and the crown represent 'The Crowning Gift of Faith'.
For more than 70 years, Patrician Brothers' College has worked to build a community of young men of incredible generosity, resilience and faith.
Patrician Brothers’ College was founded in 1952 by the Patrician Brothers to serve the mainly rural families of Blacktown and surrounding districts. The College is set on seven hectares in the heart of Blacktown City. Located just ten minutes walk from the Blacktown interchange, the College is easily accessible by public transport.
Like our city we have continued to grow and respond to the needs of our community, but our culture has remained Catholic and focused on boys’ education. Since the year 2000 the College has seen the introduction of a range of new facilities including: the Jubilee Hall, gymnasium, amphitheatre, hospitality kitchen, drama space, student café and TAS facilities.
The College today is a modern, technologically advanced learning environment that is equipped to meet the challenges of tomorrow.
